I want to live in London.

I want a funky, artsy, retro, thrift store-decorated flat. By day I'm a starving college student barista with slept-in clothes and hair I obviously can't control. I play in the puddles when it rains, and hide under the trees' shadows when it's sunny. By night I'm a girl waging war against the ugly world and my guitar and my lyrics are my greatest weapons. But the secret is, I don't think the world is ugly, I just think it could be more beautiful. And I'll have my lanky lizard boyfriend to link arms and skip through puddles singing the Sex Pistols with. And it will be beautiful.

And we'll live on cheap ramen, coffee, candy bars, and music. We'll buy coffee cake and loaves of bread (when we can afford it) to give to the homeless people we see on the street. We'll never call anyone a poser because that would make us poser elitist asshole punks ourselves. Instead, we'll give people nicknames like Coffee Newspaper Junkie Man, Chocolate Donut Girl, Grumpy Grocery Store Lady, and Pretty Punk Couple. People will give us a nickname, too. And we'll chew bubble gum. The kind of bubble gum that's actually more sugar than gum. But we'll never forget to brush our teeth, so it will be all right.

And sometimes we won't pay our electric bill on purpose so we can live by candle light for a few days. We'll pretend we're Helen Keller and walk around, trying to find our way in the dark. When we run into each other, much tickling will ensue. And then we'll fall asleep on the couch (because we can't find the bed in the dark) keeping each other warm.

And there will be no talk of stupid mothers, or rap music, or California. And crying will never be considered a bad thing. And there will be love and happiness. Lots of it.
